Personally the fans annoy me most. Not all of the fans, I mean I'm one right? I mean that minority that continually rants and raves about the most inane things. Such questions some fans keep asking are:
Q1: Why dont the characters speak to each other about events? They're all weird, they're either robots or really badly written!
Q2: Why do the writers keep posing more questions than answers? They dont know what they're doing!
My rebuttal!
A1: They do speak to each other about events. The writers are so good that they know the show doesnt need pace-killing expositional scenes where the characters rehash stuff we already know. Just be intelligent and assume the characters speak to each other about major events offscreen (unless its obvious they wont, like Charlie's mock kidnap), and rest assured when they sometimes confirm this, such as Charlie blurting out "Kate saw a horse!" a couple episodes ago.
A2: If the writers answered every single mystery by the middle of season 2, what exactly would keep us returning to the show? The mysteries are the main hook, the characters interact and react because of the mysteries, the plot moves forward because of the mysteries, WE KEEP WATCHING BECAUSE OF THE MYSTERIES!!! Dont say they dont answer stuff because they've answered plenty! If this show plans to go on for a few more seasons then we need more questions than answers otherwise the plot will just end really quickly or the show will lose the aspect that has made it stand out from every other show out there.
So anyway. Sometimes it seems like people dont know how to watch the TV, I mean honestly.
ABC follows a close second to me in the annoying-stakes. I dont like the constant breaks (between episodes and within them) or the teasers for next week (not that I watch them, or expect this convention to be removed from TV, but yeah, annoying...)
