This is what happened on 4/16/07 at Virginia Tech.

When I arrived home from school today I flipped through the fav. list on my TV only to see the words " 33 Dead at Virginia Tech" on CNN. I know personally I am not directly effected by this but my heart goes out to all victims and their families.

I saw it online when it was still early and there was first a report of 2 dead then like 20 then 33. It was very sad. While I don't know anyone personally at VT, my team has played them several times in the recent past, so it brings it a little closer to home. I really breaks my heart because the college years should be some of the best times of a person's life.

I was chatting with Kim when she told me that the regular program on her TV was interrupted for the news.

I have a hard time imagining something like that to happen. It's so scary and sad that those people who had family and plans and a long future ahead had to die.

Actually, with all the students jumping out through the windows, the whole scenario reminded me of 911 and the chuteless jumpers.

i have several freinds who go to tech and several more that plan on going i think its tragic what happend to the school and its student my thoghts are with the people involved. who knows if a good school can ever recover.

I know several people who have friends from Virgina tech. And it really doesn't make any since, its very scary to knwo someone can jsut do that. It just doesn't make any since.

I was in Spanish class learninga bout Imperfect verbs when I heard it. But my teacher just kept on teaching, no one cma ein and told us. We actualy heard it through the walls, another teacher turned it on, and we heard shooting and the reporters. At first, I heard that one person wasdead. Then, I went to Soiciology, and then I heard that like 23 were dead (later i learned it was 33, if you really want to othingy the shooter). We turned it on, and basicly my teahcer promised us that their would be huge new gun cotnral laws, and our univserity expierence would not be the same. It was basicly common sicne. But the scary thing aobut it was that the shooter baught the guns legaly. So, it takes 33 people to die, to show us that we need gun contral?
