Opening Night

OK.... meant to post this earlier today but didn't have time.... ahy well



I'm an actor, and the opening night of my new play was tonight... I was so nervous that I was going to post a thread for emotional support

as it turned out, it was AMAZING... and we didn't expect it to be because as short a time ago as yesterday it wasn't ready

the play is called Chefs Special... it was a new play, written especialy for our theatre group by a local writer, it was written and dirtewcted amazingly and I'm on such a high right now, as I just got home from the theatre I just had to share it with you guys


still got tomorows performance to go though, but I'm more confident now that the first night went well... wish me luck dudes

HAHA, I totally just made that up- is that true? I'm no good at acting, so I wouldn't know. Heh! ;D

Great bungleman, enjoy the trip ,there´s no drug like applause on an adrenalin rush, I remember how thrilled I was after premieres , and that was on a semi-pro level.

Opening night is always nervewracking. Congrats on the show and as we say in the theatre here (don't know if you do there or not): Break a leg! (Just in case you don't say that there, it is for luck.)

In Germany we wish u broke your neck and a leg
and we spit 3 times over your shoulder (uttering a "toy" like sound) and you aint gonna say thank u afterwards !
