In a way, I can't wait to bring this thread back. It sounds like snow is going to be a real possibility here in Angola in the coming weeks. Why does the nice weather have to end so soon?

It's snowed here a bit, but nothing has accumulated yet. Still, it's so cold! I was not meant to live in Minnesota. My boss looked at me funny today when I told her I wear multiple layers of pants most of the winter.

I wear multiple layers of pants most of the winter. I like doing that too. we use to call that "onion dressing ( nah, nothing for a salad!) but pealing off layer by layer once within a warmer environment, is very practical and whats wrong with wearing a fluffy "bedlike"coat indoors. one for the pants sk!+38 PS: its that cold at my place, I had to wear gloves and a scarf to cross the road going to my supermarket and SLIPPED! Good thing the multilayer of pants protected my buttocks! oLO

Hehe, hooray for the pants oLO. They have multiple benefits! People here tend to act like they are so hardcore because they can handle the cold. It would not be uncommon to hear someone say, "I'm a Minnesota native. Fifteen below is nothing!" So when I say that I'm a Minnesota native and I can't stand it below fifty degrees they take it personally. There is nothing wrong with wearing an nice fluffy coat indoors! It's cozy and nice.
