i live in Doha ,Qatar (next to saudi arabia) and they are hosting the asian games, i was wondering if anyone was going, competing or wtv.

i agree with fly what is the asian games? what makes a game asian? do you have to be asian to be in the games? |

well, that fact that asian countries are competing makes it asian, the asian games are held every couple of years and are like the olympics for asia. and i think 15 on an asian team dont have to bee asian

I've known about this for (no joking) over a year. David Atkins - the guy who directed the opening of the Aussie Olympics waaaaaaaay back in 2000 - won the gig of directing the opening of the Asia games. I put together the media package he used in his pitch. He's heading back to Oz shortly to continue... but I won't be working on it, sadly. Will be following the games tho. I date an Asian... guess that makes me a little closer than my Italian roots would normally have me?
