I'm moving to Saint Louis, Missouri thanks to a job offer that is actually associated with what I want to do career-wise!! Yay! If anyone is in that area and has some tips as to safe neighborhoods that have housing I would be very appreciative if you share.
I'll be in Denver for three weeks training starting on Monday and then on to Saint Louis..... ;D

Hey....you'll be just down the river from me....sweet....what are some good/bad things about Missouri? Well, it is a very good state to raise a family, IMHO. Not much happens, but the state in general is growing, and that means raises in minimum wage!!!! A bill is being looked at now to see about raising the minimum wage periodically through 2007 to 7.00 bucks and hours! w00t!

Major bummer...found out some very not good things about the organization that offered me the job and decided it would be in my best interest to decline...so now...I'll have until the end of November at my current job until my replacement comes in....

Well...multiple class action lawsuits and hundreds of complaints from former employees who had worked in the position offered to me....I started reading articles from the LA Times and other newspapers about the organization called "The Fund" for short...and it worried me so I started digging more and didn't like anything I found...in particular things at Non Profit Watch www.angelfire.com/indie/fundislying/FundIsLying.htmlWhen I asked the person who was my contact about it...she didn't answer my very direct questions....so that pretty much ended the deal.
