Texas is a big state, so, I thought some people around the forum might have been born here, or lived here at some point. If you have, what did you think of it?
I love it here and I've lived here all my life, despite the blistering heat. Its usually over 100 and everything looks dead or dying outside.

I grew up in Austin, TX. I love it, best city in the world. It also has some amazing Tex-Mex food. I go back whenever I get the chance and spend my entire visit just eating. ;D

Sorry, Zoso, I haven't been to Odessa. That's somewhere over yonder way out west, no? Jordache, I would LOVE to live in Austin! Its like indie-rock capital of the world, that would be cool to to go South by Southwest every year! Yep, the food is awesome, I had enchiladas yesterday.

Wow DOD! I had no idea! That's awesome! My sister lives in Dallas, but I agree, Austin is cool. GO ROADRUNNERS! I want to transter to the Uni. of Texas - San Antonio after I finish up here. UT of Austin has officially been named THE party school of the US I think. Slackers... I haven't been there, but I'd love to live out in the hill country. And Zoso, I never saw Friday Night Lights, but movies like that, like Remember the Titans are like classics here in the South. Its so over played. I'd go to Austin so I could see Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez working on their films.

I'm a Longhorn for life. National Champions baby! That was probably one of the most amazing nights of my life. It was like the entire city of Austin just had a huge party on campus.
They actually filmed some of "Friday Night Lights" in my high school. I was even an extra in it.
In conclusion, I love Austin and the HORNS! ;D

Ugh. I got up at the absurd hour of 5:30 a.m. for school to get to uni, and I already know I'm going to be running late. Oh well, time to go learn! YAY!

My sister lives in Dallas, but I've been to Houston to see its Mueseum of Art, and Corpus Christi to visit the gulf coast. I loved both, but Corpus Christi moreso. It was cooler.
