we got disneyland, knotts berryfarm, six flags(which may close) and universal studios all less than 2 hours away from where im sitting right now. going to hollywood is way overrated. they had the x games here this past weekend, that was pretty cool. the beach is relatively close . the original mcdonalds was started in socal. but its smoggy here almost every day of the year.  |

I do like living here. Santa Monica/Malibu is a nice place to go. Also up and down the coast has great locations: Santa Barbara, San Diego, etc. And in the picture, Griffith Park Observatory, which has been used in countless films and tv shows, including the movie Rebel Without A Cause.
