Just thought I would post about a festival I went to yesterday. I live in Japan, and I went the the Uneme Festival in Koriyama, Fukushima, Japan. We dressed up in Yukatas (light cotton Kimonos made for summer so you don't die of heat stroke), and I got to wear my new Yukata! There was a parade with a bunch of my friends dancing in it! I took a few short videos with my still camera (along with lots of pictures). I posted some of the pictures, and both videos on my myspace page (www.myspace.com/katmarie24), you can also find the videos on You Tube and the pictures on Ringo. Here are the links to the videos: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ODD48lgPJi0www.youtube.com/watch?v=NiVG52icJGs

I'd love to go there one day, though i dont think i'll be able to survive there I'm very picky when it comes down to food and wouldn't know what to eat. Ofcourse there's mc donalds, but one can't live on mc d alone. Still i must do it one day.

Yes, wesh! Japanese culture rocks! My austrailian pal told me about it..it's very intesting. I couldn't possibly survive on sushi...I can't stand the smell of the sea. But that icon you have is Japanese inspired no?
