Hey - I was wondering if I'm the only Scandinavian here? Any Swedes, Danes or Norwegians (okay, we'll count Finnish people too)? Or is it just me against... the Others?

I have a couple of recipes. One is called Swedish Creme Wafers. It is a little cookie sandwich with butter cookie base and then a wonderful cream cheese filling. The other is Swedish cookies for the cookie press. They are basically butter cookies that one can decorate or leave plain. We make both recipes every year for Christmas. Yum-O!

Ah... Yes - I know all of those.... I live about 400 meters (1/4 mile) from the bakery (Pågens)where they make the bottom ones (and like millions of other kinds of bread, cookies and buns). When the wind is in my direction it smells great in my apartment!
