No, he doesn't deserve it. The same way you don't deserve an A on a paper if you paid someone else to write it. Look... it's a difficult issue. Yes, steroids weren't illegal in baseball when he was hitting the majority of his homeruns, but it's still wrong and everybody knows it. I personally think he shouldn't get any kind of record, just like McGuire should have his records taken away. That's my opinion.... for what it's worth. PEACE

Sure he deserves it. I'm not a barry bonds fan myself, but the fact of the matter is he'll have hit 755 home runs. You can't deny that's amazing, and even if he did take steroids, its still amazing. Think about it this way, how many people in baseball allegedly took steriods? loads. and how many are on the verge of hitting over 700 home runs? Bonds, ARod, and a couple others. That's pretty impressive I think. plus, rule breaking's been a part of baseball from the sox throwing the series 80 years ago to the "hit king" pete rose.

im not a barry bonds fan at all because hes just an a-hole IMO. but what people that have never played baseball competitively don't know is that there is a lot more to hitting than just being strong. timing the most important, knowing your pitch counts, knowing what some pitchers do in certain pitch counts, hand placement, hitting the ball where its pitched, hand-eye coordination, etc. Do I think steroids are bad? Yes Do I think they help hitters? To a certain extent, Yes. Do I think Barry Bonds used steroids? Sometime in his past yes I think he has. Do I think he deserves the record? I would rather him not, but yes he does. Unless someone shows some proof other than "omg look how big he is compared to when he was younger" thats heresay. You can't just go back and take away records for someone you suspect of using steroids sometime in their carrer. As much as I liked McGwire, he admitted to using Andro so yes I think his records should be asteriked. I'm not trying to spark a huge debate I'm just stating my opinion. And everytime I do on this subject someone usually just slams me with the "omg look how big he is compared to when he was younger" arguement. But maybe it'll be different here. Why can't all players be like Tony Gwynn and Mark Grace... ps. my heroes ^ ^
