I have surprised myself and have watched most of the games these past 3 days and am loving it, I am rooting for the U.S. first and foremost but they will probably get knocked out saturday so If they do I think I might go with germany, (home team, and their last game was awesome with the stoppage time goal)
so who else is watching and whats your team?

I am not particularly fond of soccer but I have to admit that there's a certain positive tension building in the country you can't resist getting involved with.

So far I've watched all the matches! I'm a serious soccer fan, especially when it involves my team (Sporting Club de Portugal aka Sporting Lisbon). I support Portugal, we will hopefully win!  |

well the big game for the U.S. is in a matter of hours, hopefully they can pull a red sox and get a come from behind victory!

brazil didnt blow croatia away like everyone thought they could, their defense aint so hot, they just missed their spots on their shots. If whoever plays brazil could hit their spots then they can take down brazil.
everyone is expecting them to win and they have the most titles kind of like the yankees in baseball, so it is an obvious choice for me to root against them.

italy should not of won, in extra time a player fell every 2 mins, ther a discrace, france should of thrashed them
