tigers won today making the series tied, even though the sox crumbled in the last month of play, it would be so sweet to see the yanks not go all the way (like they say they do every year) for the 7th straight year

PLAYOFF UPDATE:
A's defeat the Twins. Win series 3-0.
Tigers defeat Yankees. Lead series 2-1.
Cardinals defeat Padres. Lead series 2-0.

PLAYOFF UPDATE:
Tigers defeat Yankees. Win the series 3-1. Advance to ALCS to face off against the A's.
Padres defeat Cardinals. Behind in series 1-2.
Mets defeat Dodgers. Win series 3-0. Advance to NLCS to face off against Cardinals/Padres.

torre getting fired would be a great thing for us, he is a fantastic coach who got his team 9 consecutive divison titles, if he lets him go it would be a great thing, and if francona was cause for the sox downfall this season we could have ended up with him which would have been great to see but it wasnt his fault so I dont think we will see him in our dugout. I think the cubbies are gunna pick him up.

i saw the tigers win the series last saturday, it was pretty sweet getting sprayed with champagne, but i'm a twins fan at heart and i'm in pain after last week

Haha! I'm so psyched about the Cardinals!! HooHAH!!
I like the Mets too but I grew up closest to the Cards and they've been my favorite since I was a wee lad, what a way to start in the new ballpark this season...man I hope they continue to make a better showing this post-season.
