Has anyone else seen "Across the Universe"? I saw it last weekend after waiting for it for six months and I was not disappointed. Visually it was one of the most beautiful films I have ever seen. I was a bit hesitant about the music because I'm a huge Beatles fan and covers fall into two distinct categories: really awsome or really bad. But I'm happy to report that the music is beautiful. Also, I was really impressed when I learend they sang all the songs live on the set. I went out and bought the soundtrack the next day. I recommed this to anyone who loves the Beatles, the 60s, or just a great movie!

I really liked it too, especially the version of "I Want You (She's So Heavy)" with Uncle Sam and all. I loved how we got to see how all those characters develop and stuff. My favorite was the Hendrix-y guitarist who wanted to do stuff his own way. That one scene when he screwed up the performance of "Oh Darling"... Haha! He rocked!
