I thought the Emmy's were pretty good tonight. I love that Terry O'Quinn won. I also loved the bit with Jon Stewart and Steven Colbert "giving" the Emmy to Steve Carrell.

There were some weird sensoring moments during the broadcast where the camera would cut to a shot from the ceiling with no audio. Ray Ramono was talking about Kelsey Grammar, Katherine Hiegl used the S word when the called her name for her win, and there was at least one other time I don't remember.

I thought Conan's intro skit last year was the funniest thing I've seen in a long time, especially with Chris Hanson. (conebone69). www.youtube.com/watch?v=i1q_8QQO70Q

The little video skits that the late night variety show did for the nominations were fantansic.

I thought there were some good moments during the show, most of which seemed improvised. The whole part with Seacrest in the outfit of the Tudors was dumb because all he did was introduce Wayne Brady. There was no point to it. And some of the awards were unexpected, some good (30 Rock) and some bad (James Spader - although I've never been inclined to watch Boston Legal).

I was so boooored with all the awards for TV movies that I've never seen or heard of. I think they earned it for sure .. but can't they make an extra ceremony for them?!
