JJ did an interview on my local radio station and said that the monster is original. America's own Godzilla. Isn't he so thoughtful?

Oh.
My.
God.
I just came back from Cloverfield. That is the best movie in a theater I've seen since never ago. The visuals are awesome. It's got a cool dramatic little story to go along with the monster messin stuff up. And the first person camcorder perspective ratchets the action up to a whole new level. It is completely off-the-wall-omg-wtf-is-going-on JJ Abrams goodness.
I'm still shaking and numb from that movie. Cloverfield will make you scream, laugh and cry - sometimes in the same scene.

No Cthulhu?
*cries*
Going to see it tomorrow afternoon. Didn't want to deal with the crowds tonight.

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G
Very well done. Suspenseful and scary, but it had moments of humor to take the edge off.
Go see it!

I loved it also - But the stupid kids in my city really f-ed it up. All I kept hearing was people talking to their friends, and what I couldn't get is why people booed at the end of it. Everyone afterwards kept saying how horrible the ending was, and I thought it was awesome. I don't think it could have been done much better.

I really want to see this. My dad probably won't take me though, because he loves his movie reviews, and People Magazine only gave it two and a half stars. From your reviews though, it sounds great.

SPOILER gives away ending. I really liked the film. Very artistic in its style and as for the ending I enjoyed it. I did not expect any questions to be answered other than what the monster looked like. I think killing all the main characters was a perfect way to end it.
