Gah!!!!! As a child, the original TMNT was my favorite movie. It's blasphemy to make a new one!!!!! And I don't like the CGI or whatever.

Gah!!!!! As a child, the original TMNT was my favorite movie. It's blasphemy to make a new one!!!!! And I don't like the CGI or whatever. HAHAHAHAHAHA Sorry... *snicker* ... hahahHAHAHAHahahaha Oh, that's a good one. The "original" cartoons were so blasphemous to the original comics that came before them it isn't even funny. The movie was a better, but still way off from the source material it came from. The second movie was just horrible. The comics that followed (not done by the original creators) were also way off the mark and just a shadowy joke on the original creations. They took something that had real meat and (believe it or not) depth and turned it into a kids joke. Added zingers and campy one-liners. Removed the depth and emotion from the characters. It was sad to see that happen to something that was as strong as the original comics (especially the first 10 issues by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird). All that being said, the first movie was still enjoyable for what it was. It wasn't even close to what the comics were, but it was fun. They are saying this movie is going to be closer to the original comics, but I doubt that. However, it could still be a good movie. Nobody can know without seeing it. I am not exactly excited to see it (as I am such a fan of the original comics), but I am looking forward to giving it a fair chance.
