I was just wondering if anyone else here is in a band or anything, I guess you could say I am, although it's just me and some friends who have been getting together every once in a while to cover some songs that we like. But if any of you guys have bands or have thought about starting one, just post.

band ahoy!!! mine is influenced by Queen, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and many more around those genres all blended... rock, glam, some progressive, some jazz elements, bit of pop... a bit of everything minus rap/techno/emo/death/unneccisarily heavy/etc u know wot i mean i write most of our songs... i'm starting uni this year tho and we've kinda parted, so most likely I'll find some new musicians to jam with and see if we can get a new band together

I'm kinda in a band. I used to be in my High School house band, but then we all went on to college, and haven't had much chance to play together. But we used to gig regulary. Now i just sing with a couple of guys at pubs and clubs and the odd live music night. *Sighs* I miss the old days

Was In a band, released a full length album, and an ep. We toured the East Coast a bit, and built a nit of a following in the Raleigh area. Of course like most bands we broke up. We were called System burned, I was lead guitar purevolume.com/systemburnedAfter we broke up I started to build my studio, and from that The Lost Podcast was born

Not a band really. I'm a violinist so I had a string trio that I arranged music for, but we split after one gig cause the viola player decided she was too busy. We were really good too. Now I just do Orchestra and String Ensemble with the local Jr. Philharmonic. I'm co-concert master of the String Ensemble. It's fun, but I'm glad its my last year with them cause its really busy, but then I am going into college for a Music Performance Major. lol So I'll be even bussier. Oh well tis life.

I used to be in a couple actually. Im only 13 but i have dreams too you know!!! haha. Well the first one was in 4th grade-we had 3 songs-both that i wrote. They wer terrible corny love songs. Oh no only one of them was. The other one went like this: So soon so soon wer gonna fly, your gonna see us passing by wer gona fly so high, wer gonna fly so high. That was the chorus. We did this song when our name was the Blue Angels. But then we dropped it when we wer called MCsquared. Cuz we had Madison, Maggie, Caroline, and carrie (me) hehe creative huh?! Then last year I made a band with INCREADIBLY talented musicians. The most amazing sax player, a fantastic guitar/base, the single most amazing pianist/mandelin/guitar/banjo player i have ever met, and this really great drummer. I was the singer and im not gonna say anything about my level of singing (send me a message if you want me to email you a mp3 or something haha if you relaly care). We wer realy good and had one BEAUTIFUL song if i may say so myself that i wrote. It was really great but a bit depresssing so they wanted to stop playing it (grrrrrrrr). Then we did a song that was mostly about the music that was a duet and like one of those echoing songs. We wer into protest songs and peace songs you know. We played at school dances and stuff and had a couple covers and two more origionals. It was really great but then the piano player has a BIIIIIIG ego so it ended up not working out. We were called Apollos Revenge which i thought was such a coooool name. I still do Now I am waiting for high school to start a serious band. And thats my story!
