lol just got back from Tenacious D in the begining u may have an idea about it but as soon as you start watching it you get a totally different thing. It's very funny but don't bring your kids take some friends but some younger viewers shouldn't watch. I thought over all it was good some may just get a couple giggles but it was pretty good over all. Some drug use and a scene you might want to look away from. But it stays with the story but tries to give you a little more detail about so overall I give it a B

Might be that people are discouraged by the rating... School of Rock was a bit more family friendly, or woteva.

The music is fantastic (their music always rock)! I bought P.O.D. on iTunes and I listen to it all the time. I can't wait until I finally get to see the movie....

I saw POD last week and I have to say that it wasn't as good (funny) as I was hoping. The music was great as usual but the movie didn't feel "Jack Black-ish" enough. It felt like it was written by someone else. Of course there were some hilarious parts. Without giving anything away, Tim Robbins delivered an outstandingly funny characterization and the car chase on the phone was genious! If you're as big of a D fan as me, it's definitely worth the money. Just don't expect a non-stop laugh riot.
