Who's seen Brick?

Anyone seen this movie? It's starring Joseph Gorden-Leavitt and (da da da!) EMILIE DE RAVIN!

It's a really dark murder mystery type movie, very well shot, good music, and Emilie De Ravin talking in an American accent (her Australian accent still shines through a little)

It's out on DVD, you can probably get it at Blockbuster, I got it from Netflix so I know they have it.

I wanted to see it because of Emilie, Filmspotting just raved about it, and Ryan and Jen loved it. I couldn't wait to see it. I turned it off after 30 minutes. I just didn't get it. The black football player was good in it, though.

I liked it too, cos it was unique... and Gordon-Levitt reminded me of a young "Spike" from Cowboy Bebop (The whole lanky thing with bushy hair constantly getting beat up, but giving back as good as he got).

Sadly, however, it wasn't as memorable to me as I'd hoped. I even forgot the name of it until you started this thread. I think it's time for a rewatch...

I loved it, but it was a little hard to follow. But it was a good movie overall.
