If you could write a book of your own what would it be? like horror,mystery,romance, and etc. what would it be about like the story line. can be fiction,non fiction, auto biography and such and it doesn't have to be just one book as many as u can think of. If you like someone's idea plz don't steal it lol. but if u like it comment about that person by giving advice or leaving good things.
I would probly write a book when i'm older probably about the places i've traveled, not only states and such but different countries, and contents. also write about the people i meet. That or write about what i'm going through now u know with my family and such by try and help kids like my not trying to say it'll be okay if u do these things in this order, but by giving advice and things ya know. so write about what u'd like to write

I'll bite. I would write a book about what life would be like if there were no moon. Think about this a bit, do a google search on the subject, and figure out just how freaky it would be. To give you a taste: the Earth would spin three times as fast on its axis; the tides would be considerably weaker, and we would be hit by much larger debris from space more often. Imagine a society that have harnessed photovoltaic energy, and the richest live in cities that are positioned along the Earth's most volatile faultlines, while the poorest eke out an existance in desert communes on the radioactive wastelands formed by a desintegrated moon. I would write a science fiction book about children who discover they are really mutants. Not like X-men though.

One of my dreams is to write a book, ive attempted with a few stories but i never get past the fifth chapter, i just give up id love to write some horror/thriller books, perhaps even a comedy/drama I havent read a proper book in years ( apart from the odd harry potter) until recently, ive started getting into stephen king books, and ive started with carrie  , and after reading it, its insipred me and made my interest in writing a book increase, so hopefully, if a good idea hits me in the head, ill have a stab at writing a book |

If I wrote a book it would be one for children. Of what kind I am still totally open ... probably fantasy ... but maybe something from everyday life. Who knows.

Hmmm... No if here, I write books. Have not finished and successfully published one yet, but I will one day. Currently there are two of them in the works, both are Fantasy stories of different kinds... but set in the same world. My world I created ages ago for my role-playing games. "The Land of Karn. "
One is a large travel epic fantasy story of magic and curses and adventure, with a serious tone and a love story. This is the story that I get my name from. The story Dragavan was brought to light in. "Ravendorn's Quest". Parts of it are also available in raw first draft form in my Deviant Art account, but raw firsts drafts are not meant to be solid and good (so don't expect much if you read any of it).
The other one is a smaller group story with a lot more humor and a lighter tone. Still an adventure in it, but with a lot more city interaction and an active bad guy who they see a lot without knowing he is the bad guy. It was originally going to be a web comic, but the friend who was going to do the art never really got passed the character sketch stage, so I started to write it as a novel instead.
Eventually I hope to polish up either of these two and publish (either self publish through Lulu or something, of find a publisher). I would also like to get them done in PodioBook form, but they need to be finished with the writing and editing first.
I also write a lot of other things, including the slowing building choose-your-own-adventure style story I have over at infinite-story.com. The main thing I write is games (role-playing and other card or board games). My first published one is available at edge.rpgnow.com in my section, but it's a card/board game that you have to download, print and cut out yourself to play (so until I get a physical publisher for it I don't expect much in the way of sales). My big project game (The Land of Karn) is near completion, but still has lots of editing needed before I release it, but I have started working on the website for it (landofkarn.com).

I thought of a plot idea this morning while still half asleep:
It's about a little knight who inherits his father's armor at young age. He's the worst little knight possible cause he's falls on his nose all the time and he's clumsy with his weapon. But 'cause he's brave, smart and kind he gets his way in the end nevertheless (killing the dragon or whatever).
One day he loses the armor of his father - I don't know why yet - and it turns out that he's not clumsy at all ... it was just the armor - that wasn't fitting at all - that stood in his way.
The end.
Of course there would be some kind of princess and maybe a witch/fairy involved.
That's the kind of book I would write.

That's the kind of book I would write. Hold on. What happened to that brilliant concept for a story you told me about some time ago? It involved two famous podcasters...but I'm still sketchy with the details. That story came so naturally though. It could have gotten published! ;D |
