Does anyone think this will be the last one? I do. If you read the premise, it really sounds like this could be it.

Perhaps, but if it makes money, they won't pass up a chance to make more. I actually read something that said this movie was supposed to come out on Oct. 27th, maybe that's an early release thing.

Maybe, but the previews I have seen say October 31st. But maybe I am wrong. And you are right, Matt, look at X-Men: The Last Stand. If you are gonna continue on with the movies, don't call it the Last Stand. Ridiculous.

Considering that two of the actors signed on for two more of them after 2 came out (signed and sealed), I doubt this will be the last one unless it tanks. I would not say who the two who signed on since it could spoil the first two for people and these are movies that you should really see unspoiled. I love these movies.
That being said, I don't know if this series is going to have legs to continue on as a franchise though. I think three is about the limit and it will peter out or become just another gorefest/shockfest after that. So far they have done a good job keeping it fresh and with twists and turns, but there is only so far you can go with that without changing it so much as to be unrecognizable as what it used to be. I just don't want to see this become another Friday the 13th series that just goes on and on without any content or quality.

This one looks to go overboard with the death and the screaming and the suffering. Like I said earlier, that was a really rough trailer. Can't wait either.

Has anybody seen this movie ? I managed to see it last week and it was AWSOME! It definatley is the goriest of the three, but that aside, it has a really well thought story to it, and in true saw fashion, ends with a great twist ( with that music playing, you know, the violins n stuff ). I remember seeing a review on this film and they made a great point - We all know that Saw wouldnt have had these 2 sequels if it had bombed, but after watching saw 3, you feel as if these films were thought out and meant to be a trilogy from the start ( which we know that isnt the case) Anywho, i am very pleased with this film, i loved it. i would be happy if they left the saw films at that........but we know that wont be the cast either ;D as lionsgate have confirmed that they ahve started working on saw 4. This is interesting as in the film, we basically see jigsaw die. I know that the tagline was "legends never die" but cmon! how can this frial old man survive a slit throat? Saw 3 rating - 9.0/10 it would have gotten more but i felt as if the acting by Jeff wasnt up to scratch
