His name was Japanese, obvioiusly - but I think it was Hiro. But once he discovered his power to bend the time/space continuum and teleport to New York (the the Ladies Room), his skeptical pal called him "SuperHiro", I think. I'm not too good with names, but it has a noice ring to it, no? I was thinking about getting this ep...but I'm afraid I can only devote my time to one mythology - and its so close! Sorry, 'Heroes'.

So anyone else think that it is Sayler (that killer) who killed that Mobster or who is leading Nikki by the map? Unless it's clarie's father thats doing that. I was thinking Sayler could maybe be Claire's dad I think this would be too obvious

couple of theories...the family murdered in LA was Claire's real family
Sylar can take peoples powers by eating/stealing their brain. He's already got super strength (to lift the woman up that high) and freezing ability (the guy was frozen). Claire's power might be the ultimate power, but might be the toughest to take.

I loved the first two episodes. I'm thinking that Sylar is also the cheerleader's father. The timeline is not very clear as to the LA family that was killed - but the artist is 5 weeks in the future. His "job" requires travelling but he was in NY in last weeks episode not LA. Anyway it's been interesting so far. Creepy when he was watching the video of his daughter jumping off the ledge.

So far - after 2 episodes - I have liked it. But this is TV and as you allknow - once a certain "genre" takes off - this one being a large, multi-cultural cast - with kind of a weird story - it's only matter of time before there are immitators - "The 9", "Jericho", "Heroes" to naem a few.

Going off topic real quick:
I happened to really like Jericho, and am currently looking forward to The Nine tonite. I think this could be one of the best years for television since '03 when 3 big shows (Grey's Anatomy, Desperate Houswives, Lost) all hit the scene. I am eagerly excited about the different ways all these new shows can go.

Although I didn't see the last ep, but I did read a review of it here: tv.ign.com/articles/736/736957p1.htmlTalk about LOST connections: The pilot from the 'Pilot' ep of Lost made an appearance as a new character named Matt Parkman, who learned he can suddenly read minds!

Creepy when he was watching the video of his daughter jumping off the ledge. the two episodes span two days (granted the LA could be out of time sequence, but that would be way too stupid of them). Claires dad was in NY one day, and then back in Odessa, TX the same day. The next day he was still there and was out and about because he managed to get his hands on the tape. I highly doubt he was in LA. BTW, anyone else notice the same flashy gun that the exterminator had and the short haired girl ended up with....it popped up in the artists studio (the gun Hiro picked up)...lots of time inbetween, so who knows what's happened with the gun...but the short haired girl could work for the same person as the exterminator and is there as someone who was supposed to earn Mohinder's trust

Wait, the Japanease dude, since he went to the future, he saw the body of the cool Idian Guy? How do you pronounce their names? Geez, I feel so bad, I love those two characters...the Indian guy is my favorite.

I think that it was the artist Issac that Hiro not the Indian guy.
Hey, Sci Fi channel is replaying it right now. I hope they keep it replaying them until the mythology gets set up.
