I'm at about 1120, but that is including one that is an 8 hour audio book on one track. I've got an ipod mini (6GB), and I also have some podcasts on there too... And still have about 500MB of free space left.

when I click on the music list of iTunes it shows me 3953 (but I have the first 3 harry potter books burned onto it as well, so there are 554 tracks just for those)
podcasts show as 166 items (some of which are video)
I have a 60GB video iPod. they're now selling an 80GB for less than I paid for my 60GB back in January...but then again, I had store credit from returned christmas gifts that I used towards it, and it only cost me like 100 (including the warranty)

3981 now...found two cds I hadn't imported yet... I've got other cds that I haven't backed up yet too...like Christmas with the Rat Pack and stuff like that...
as Christmas time rolls around, I'll import those and create a Christmas playlist

I have 615, and Im trying to import harry potter so it plays in the audiobook menu, so far so good. 423 podcasts. at the time I imported the first 3 books I was using music match to import them, and then adding the folder to the iTunes library...I kicked Musicmatch the other day. It doesn't play from the audiobook menu for me, but I set up playlists for Year 1, Year 2, etc... I have 1,2,3 on the iPod, and I have Year 6 on CD to import, but I need to buy Year 4 and Year 5. Since the Iggles are whooping the G-Men, I imported my christmas music and made that playlist.....4149 songs and I deleted the Generally Speaking Lost Podcast, couldn't take them anymore...and my local radio morning show, I only keep a select few episodes and like the most recent week. all in all, it's filling up about 33GB of the 55GB of formatted space... oh yeah, I have 99 photos saved on the iPod as well of various things

Theres a way to trick itunes and the ipod to put it in the audiobook menu. You have to change the filename from .m4a to .m4b, its confusing but i googled it and it works.
