In my experiences all you need is a good amp with a good distortion setting, and a wah wah pedal. Even though i would like a Whammy pedal to try it out

It may be easier but its not necessary. My favorite band doesn't even have one, they don't need to put up with the bassists drama.

yeah. tho if its that easy, why dont bands just get random bassists whenever 1 gets mad and drama-fied.
I like acoustic best, because i just love the sound. i usualy d/l all the acoustics i can. Mr Brightside has a cool 1. Punk Rock Princes (something corporate) has one of the best acoustics ever. I also like Crossfade's Cold's acoustic version

theyre great. sometimes hard to find. I flipped when i saw a cd called "Punk goes acoustic" with a bunch of good punk songs acoustic versions. Memory by sugarcolt is SO much better. I hated the original when I heard it, but the acoustic is sweet. I wish theyd make more cds like punk goes acosutic, like a series. like they do all the "Now 704" or w/e its up to. I'd so get every 1 in the series
