I haven't read a lot of Charles richardens, but "Great Expectations" is in my top 5 favorite books. It's not for everyone, but as far as a book read for school, I thought it was enjoyable. But, I'm also sort of an English nerd.

Just been through Chrichtons "World in fear" -great novel about lobbies, media , politics and extreme environmentalists. Gave me a whole new perspective on the phenomenon of global warming.

Currently reading Lisey's Story by Stephen King (would Ben approve? :-P) I'm about a third of the way through it, and I've really been enjoying it. I recommend it if you like Stephen King, reading, or stories in general.
