Just saw it, I liked it a lot. I am a big fan of the 1984/ Dystopian type stories and this one was defiantly worth the 6 bucks (with student discount ) I give it 3 and 1/2 thumbs up.

It looks really good. I wanna see it but I have a thing against paying $10 to see a film (I don't get a student discount). I'll rent it when it comes out.

It's been getting great reviews though.

I thought about picking up the graphic novel last week but never got around to it. The film was really great. Perhaps the best film I've seen in 2006. Well written, acted, shot, scored, and everything else. Do yourself a favor and go see the film.
Your Hero, Paul

I saw "The Hills Have Eyes". It was awsome. Especially if you like Emilly De Raven *cough cough JAY cough*. It wasn't scary. But it was one of those jump out and scare the living daylights out of you kind of things. Also the new movie "Stay Alive" looks so scary. It's an interesting plot.Plus Franky Muinez (if thats how you spell it) is in it. Also they are finally making "Silent Hill" a movie. For years I have been saying that it should become a motion picture. I guess what I said made it to Hollywood. I'm a little pissed that they changed the main Character to a Women though (no disrespect to all you women out there). I can't figure out how they will progress with the other ones. Because the whole point in the second Silent Hill is that the same guy from the first one can Find his Wife. Anyways *Ding* I give "The Hills Have Eyes" 2 thums up and a 4 out of 5............or 5 out of 5......no mabey its 4 1/2 out of 5........... I don't know, It's somewhere around there.

I have to agree with you about the Silent Hill movie. From what I know about it via the previews I think they did an incredible job capturing the atmosphere of the game. Silent Hill is far and away the scariest game I have ever played (actually, there's a story behind why it was so scary involving midnight and a baby crying outside my window but that's for another post) and I think the movie will do it justice even with the changing of the lead character. At least it looks much scarier than the second scariest series of games I've played; Resident Evil.

I also agree about Silent Hill. It definitely looks like one of the, if not the best game to movie adaptation in recent times.
I heard mixed things about The Hills Have Eyes though. Good, bad. I probably won't watch it until it gets released on DVD. I hate watching horror movies in theaters. I always feel like I should restrain myself from showing all my fear for other people's sake, and then I'll walk out and just be freaked out forever since I had it all bottled up, if that makes sense. Its more enjoyable with friends at home where I can start cursing at the television for scaring me poopless.
Stay Alive though. Eh. I saw the trailer for that and I feel like the concept's been overplayed and overdone. I'm not expecting too much out of it.

Also the new movie "Stay Alive" looks so scary. It's an interesting plot.Plus Franky Muinez (if thats how you spell it) is in it. That Franky Muniz kid is scary. Just watching Malcom in the Middle is scary enough. I hope you were being sarcastic and you aren't some sort of Franky Muniz fan. If you aren't being sarcastic......well.....then you like Franky Muniz! HA HA!
