OK - I've gotta ask the peanut gallery about this one.
There's a job fair in my area next week. There's supposed to be 50 companies there (no telling how many are actually hiring). The issue is, around 8,000 people have already registered (doesn't count any last minute people or ones who don't register at all but show up anyway). Oh, and it's being held in the Rec Center of the local community college. The question is, would anyone recommend going to the job fair, or watch the news coverage at home?

While everyone else is at the Job Fair you should go around to the businesses, that way there will be less people out and about. Good Luck.

I got a letter back from the BBB(Better Business Bureau) from Ashley's Furniture, with their response to my complaint against them. I have never seen so many lies in one letter in my life I am so glad that I write down names and times that I talk to people and that we took so many picture's. They have said that they can't say for sure that the bed that I brought back to the store is one of theirs are you kidding me, they also stated that they want me to refrain from shopping at any of their stores, that was a joke, like I would ever think of shopping there again So now I have to reply to them to the BBB and this time I can send them my proof, I am going to do that tomorrow. This whole thing has been a nightmare that I still don't get why they have been acting the way that they are. What a JOKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Call the TV station again...Then send us the link of your video. I'm so sorry that this isn't working out just yet. Don't give up. "The customer is always right", isn't that the motto in retail? I don't think at this store that the customer is never right. I went onto their sight to see if there wee any complaints and there was something called pissed off consumers, it was full of complaints about Ashley's from all over the 50 states. Their corp office is in Arizona and the state of Arizona has a law suit going against them. I sure wished that I had seen this site before I shopped there. One of my daughter's had someone give her a different number to the TV station, so I am going to call that number tomorrow. Wish me luck The only problem may be that they buy advertising on most of the local stations here

I bought a couch on layaway, paid for it much faster than expected (in 5 days) and I am still waiting on my couch, 32 days later. Screw Ashley Furniture... if I wouldn't lose my down payment, I would ask for my money back. Did you get your couch yet

It's been way too quiet around these parts lately. What can we do to spice it up? Another Karma Kon?

While everyone else is at the Job Fair you should go around to the businesses, that way there will be less people out and about. Good Luck. Actually the hosts of the job fair have listed the companies who will be present and I'm thinking about checking their websites for job openings to see if showing up will be worth it. The last time there was a job fair in the area the place hosting it was overwhelmed by the turnout. Good luck to ypu Cindy whatever you do Thanks Bev! I've got my fingers crossed
