I am having issues with my ipod again!!!!! If someone could watch the video that would be appreciated My dad thinks the stereo speakers I plug my iPod into might have caused some kind of power surge that damaged the iPod, in fact my first iPod (this is my second) broke when it was playing through the speakers. If I have to get this replaced this will be my 3rd iPod since I bough my first iPod in May of 2008.

By the way the screen is getting progressively worse over the weekend, much like cancer or Alzheimers, it now looks like white with some things peeking through eventually it will be totally unuseable.

To Bev: Thanks. It's too bad you've ben having furniture problems though. I'm interested in reading your rant. To Kirschner: That really sucks. Time to get some new speakers? It really is too bad though that everything is dying from the cancer of power surge.

The dance last night was fun until they started playing only rap music. Ick. Took some pictures and even ordered professional ones, just like a prom!
Oh yeah and my friend got engaged yesterday on her fiance's 21st birthday. Woah, it's crazy to say that. She is going to be 21 next month. Anyone else think that's young? They have dated for two and a half years now.

They have dated for two and a half years now. That dance sounded like fun! Wow! That IS young! But, I guess love comes in different shaped boxes for everyone. My sister went to school with a girl who got engaged at 16! She's twenty four now, and they've been together for EIGHT YEARS. Isn't that CRAZY?! Going to a party tonight. Should be fun. (Note to higher being listening/reading: PLEASE let it be fun.)

Sounds like the weekend is split between fun times (dances and BSG marathons) and rough times (iPod outages and furniture fights.)
I keep checking back for the update on Bev's Furniture War - anxious to hear what happened.

Here is my rant; On Feb. 21st. I went to Ashley furniture store to buy a bedroom set for my oldest daughter Shelly, Shelly was born with Cerebral Palsy. She lives with her dad and he wanted to re do her room for her Bday which was March 7th. I painted her room, and he bought new carpet and asked me if I would pick out new furniture for the room. as I said before I went to Ashley's to See if they had what I wanted for her. I found a really nice set in white, I thought that it was perfect. Here starts the first problem, we couldn't get it until the 10th of March, 3 days after her Bday, because they didn't have the mattress and box springs in stock, I said fine I guess we'll just have to wait until then, Well they brought it on the 10th, put it together and left in a hurry, her dad called me and asked me if I got it a little higher than the normal bed, I told him that yes I bought her a pillow top mattress, I went to his house to check it our and I am not kidding, the top of the mattress was 4 feet from the floor, and when one of my grandsons went to climb up on it, the whole bed collapsed.. I went to the store the next day and spoke with a mgr, or so he said, I told him that it wasn't put together right and he said "oh I know what happen" "they sent the wrong frame" he said that he would take care of it. I think that it took another week for them to bring the other frame and when they did, YEP, it was not the right frame, you could put on a headboard but not a foot board which this bed had. This time I called the store and said enough, come and pick up the set, I am going to go buy one somewhere else. Well another guy also saying the he was a Mgr. asked me to let him see if he could find out what happen, he knew what to do about the whole thing and then told me that the bed was suppose to be a trundle bed and that he knew how to fix it, BUT it would take from 2-2 1/2 weeks to get it, I said OK but this is the last time, no more chances to make it right. So 3 weeks after I had not heard from him I called him, I waited most of the day for him to return my call which he never did, SOOOOOOOOO I again went to the store and I lit into him about how long it was taking and about him not returning my call, he talked me into waiting one more time while he tries to find out where the new frame was, I don't think that he ever ordered it. Anyway he called told me that he has one and the it would take about 8 more days to get it, again I said that it had better be right or they are going to come and pick it up. They came and the morons set it up, the first night was fine, the next night her dad sat down with her to wards the head of the bed to change her TV station and the whole bed collapse with both of them on it, it took him a few minutes to get them both out of the mess. The headboard also broke and all the screws popped put, they never screwed in the support boards to the rails and they were to short also. This was on a Sunday and it was Easter and they were closed so I had to wait until Monday to call them, I told them what happen and told them to come and get the piece of crap, well the whole set, they refused to do it, told me to take pictures or have them send out a tech. to ck. it out, I said no!!!! I am done. So since they wouldn't come and get it, figgy and I loaded it up and took it back to the store and left it in front of the store, then I went in and told the Mgr. what we did, he said that corp. got the pics. that I sent and saw nothing wrong with the bed, He told me that I was responsible for it, I told him that I don't care and left, and also told him that I will see him in court that my daughter could have been killed or hurt really bad. I have also called a local TV trouble shooter, hope he calls back so that I can get the story out there so nobody else goes through what we have been through. I think that 3 times in one month for them to get it right is enough. They have refused to give us a refund and from what I have read on the Internet about their store they do this to everyone. SO PLEASE RUN...DO NOT WALK AWAY FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE STORES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is my rant, I told you all that it was a long one, and I left some of it out. I'll let you know how it goes from here, I gave them 2 weeks for a refund, if I don't get it, I will be filling a claim for a suit 1 week from Tues. I may even picket their store and hand out flyer's with pictures of the broken bed, so if you hear about some crazy lady from San Diego taking on Ashley's you'll know who it is

P.S We went to another furniture store and bought her another set, they brought it the very next day, put screws in the support bars, and there were bolts in the headboard, not like the little screws that were in the other one. I went over to see it yesterday, Shelly had a big smile on her face, it was like she knew this time was going to be ok.

Bev, maybe you should post their phone number and we can have everyone from the boards call them and tell them off. Or we could start a twitter trend topic and get the word out that way too.
And on a completely different topic, I had a nightmare about killer lobsters from outer space. And that's not even the funniest part - they were regular looking, regular sized lobsters and I don't even think they were alive. I think they were "previously frozen." Ooooh scary.

Hey Coll, in preparation for CC, I did find several apps for the phone that locate Starbucks and/or coffee houses. I'll have to make sure to get one before July. Just hope it can tell us whether it's actually open at the time too.
