Looks like your screen is fried. I'm no pro, but the software seems to be in working order and everything is functional "behind" the defects.

I got a Blackberry today. It's the Curve, like Jay has only mine is silver so it's way nicer looking. Except my old phone broke where it charges, so they couldn't transfer my contacts, which really sucks.

I'm the world's slowest texter, so any sort of keyboard would be of use to me. +internet is another bonus.  |

Share time with the latest in ongoing saga. Today I was upstairs on the phone with work when my dog started barking like crazy. I opened the door to let her go downstairs (while still on the phone) when I hear someone talking to her, telling her to stay. There is someone IN MY HOUSE. I start down the stairs and see a security officer standing in the foyer. Turns out that my water heater had blown and was gushing water out of the garage and my neighbor had called security when she couldn't get in touch with me (canceled my house phone line months ago.) Security and maintenance had taken out the screen in my kitchen window and went down and shut off my water. Totally didn't hear any of it until Georgia started barking. Kind of freaked me out to walk down to people inside, but at least they were helping. And now I having a new tank-less water heater installed in the morning. Been a long day and this is the first time I have even had a chance to check in 10 hours. Hope everyone had a better day than I did.
On the good side, the boss felt sorry for me and brought me tiramisu for dessert tonight. It was very yummy.
