That's so cool! I'm glad SOMEONE in the world is good at bowling, cause I suck. FREAKING HELL!! SIX INCHES OF SNOW IN LONDON AND ITS STILL SNOWING!!! It NEVER snows here. EVER. It's crazy. It looks SO beautiful. HALLELUJAH!!!!!! (I'm a bit excited!!) Just two words: Wii Bowling I have to ask - how is that much snow handled across the pond? Or are six inches of snow normal for one storm? I only ask because when it snows where my sister lives (in Texas), everything closes if they get enough to make a footprint, while up here (in Ohio) it just makes everyone's commute a little longer. The figure is actually closer to 19 cm. BUT STILL A LOT, HUH?? Everything is shut down here. The tubes, buses and trains are stopped. NO ONE is at work or school and everyone is in the park. It's craziness. Most areas grit their streets, so cars can still move as normal, but where I live - they weren't expecting any snow so the roads are just black ice. Since I have today and tomorrow off from school, me and my friends are going to try and walk into the center and see everything (big ben, parliament) at night with snow covering everything. AJDKJHD SO MUCH FUN!

I know what you mean Cindy. The only time I called in for snow was when it was a foot. lol. My teacher in high school, got stuck in Kentucky when they got an inch. No one was allowed to go anywhere. He was like are you people serious. Exalt to Cindy, us that get snow are tough.

It's a character building experience ;D. You know you live in a snowy area when the Weather Channel has a guy reporting from your area and he makes a comment like "I feel like I'm standing on the rim of the world's biggest margarita glass" because there is so much salt on the roads, bridges, etc. Good times.

Oh I know what you mean. It's supposed to rain though this weekend. Two more days of really cold weather and than it's supposed to get into the high 30s and 40s, Whoa heat wave. I'll be happy to atleast get my car washed this weekend. Yeah, it's a good thing I have a tan color car the salt does not show up as much.

Lucky you. My car is supposed to be indigo, although it isn't at the moment because it's covered in salt & dried road spray. I'm hoping for rain to give it a bath. I'd do it myself, but it would be taunting my dad - he's usually out washing cars as soon as he knows they won't freeze shut - but right now he is finding out the hard way why it isn't a good idea to spend the pre-dawn hours in single digit temps knocking ice/snow off the roof with a hammer & chisel (don't ask). All I can say is I'm glad he has codeine now.

Hey guys, "Chuck" was fun tonight So I went to the wake this afternoon with my sister & turns out, although his prognosis was terminal, it wasn't supposed to kill him yet; he had an infection that weakened his heart in the end. But despite not knowing for sure he'd die, he wrote these notes out in a notebook that they found last night when they were going through his stuff. The notes were the part that made me tear up: They were scribbles from a man who felt that he was dying even if the doctor's didn't tell him. They said things like, "Take care of each other" and "I love my girls" and "I love my family, even Patty, who I forgive." They were dated for within the last few days of his life & the last one is from right before he went unconscious for the last time, at 9:02pm on Jan 29 (he died early in the morning on Jan 31). It was so sad. But anyways, how was everyone else's day? Tell me happy stories

But anyways, how was everyone else's day? Tell me happy stories I decided that in my animation class I will be recreating scenes from LOST. Currently I have the beach scene. Next I am drawing the fuselodge in the jungle. My other ideas include: smoke monster in the jungle Raft sailing into distance (with stick people) Helicoptor flying to an island (which might dissapear with some animation) Beach scene with a bottle of rum in the sand, with a boat smoking/fire in distance Not Penny's Boat - circle window with a bad looking hand with the words written on it Flaming stick frogurt Any other ideas? Send a PM if you would really want to see it. It's a long semester. Also note that I do not do people so they will be sticks.
