Thanks malcomthrock. I'm not a karma lover or hater either. I just do it for fun. If someone wants to exalt you, let them. I don't take karma too seriously. I don't care if I get smote. It doesn't really matter to me. It makes it non fun when ppl start complaining that they don't have any karma, or they got smote.

As far as what your saying Dez, if you don't like, why do you come here and post? That is another thing that makes it non fun. Why don't you just leave the ppl that do like doing it alone?

I never said I didn't like it. I just don't think I deserve a karma point simply by making a post with a few words in it.

Exactly, that is our biggest arguement, karma used to mean something, you used to earn it, but now all you have to do is post and it is handed to you. It makes it meaningless, when it used to be important. And when people complain about getting smote annoys us, it happens to everyone, not just you.

I'm not against earning karma. All I'm saying is that if someone wants to come here and exalt someone just for posting, let them. They're not hurting anyone. You don't have to do it if you don't want to.

I'm not looking for an exalt...so please...don't...but this ongoing talk about Karma has brought me here to check out this thread...and it seems to be the thread where people who are looking for exalts hang out..just to raise their numbers. I,too, thought that Karma was just to give a little nod to people when they say something you agree with..or a way to give someone a quick pick me up....or just to be nice. I've noticed that the same people post here....over and over and over again...just to get karma points.

Dare I say..in the bigger picture of life....what your karma points on a Lost board are...should not be the end all to your day. This whining and complaining all the time about your points takes away from the fun of the Karma points. Let it be fun...and don't care what your numbers are.
