Alright, new tie in the The Heart of Darkness: I'm watching Walkabout right now and here's a Jack quote that stuck out, "How come everytime there's a hike into the heart of darkness you sign up?"

Who was Locke playing with in the army game? I can't remember his name. He was that guy that called Locke Cololnel.
Ben, I think you're right. We were meant to see 2 and 3 on the sides of the dice . . . 23! Cool!

A user at the Lost-TV forums used an image manipulation program and came up with this. It is super freaky, and I have no clue what it means, but hey. Here's some more spice to the topic:

dude that is so fake..lol Meh. I'd love to believe you, but you haven't given me any reason to believe it to be fake. If it's fake and someone Photoshopped it in, they did a hell of a job. I wouldn't be surprised if this entire picture was fake though, but it's so well contrived it's hard to give a reason for it to be fake other than a gut feeling. Unless the producers have debunked it already.

Well, the original picture was on the Hanso website, which is run by ABC, making it valid (however, it's importance is up to debate. Hence this thread). As for that photoshoping, I think I can say with 99.9% certainty that, that is a fake. It looks like the guy inverted the picture and just put a pasted a picture of a guy with a towel in there. I'm not an authority on photoshop, but I know the program pretty well. And there's no way you could have gotten that out of a pitch black spot. When a photo is taken, there can be no other layers. It just 'is' what it is.

Thanks for settling that blackhorse. I thought maybe it was Jesus sneaking in the back way.

Here is the original post that I pulled it from. According to him, he didn't use Photoshop, but some program called Picasa. I'm not sure how much of a difference it will make if any, but right now I'm trying to track down this program and see it for myself. Judging from their posts though, it seems to be legit, despite all of your photoshop expertise. Honestly, they've got me totally convinced that it's real. www.losttv-forum.com/forum/showpost.php?p=257239&postcount=626

Hey there,
I looked at the original image file in photoshop when it first popped up in the boards at the fuselage forums (prior to this thread). I very specifically did levels manipulation in the dark area and this image of the guy is not there. There is a pipe or something like it in the shadows, but there isn't much details.
Jack's lost step kid
PS in case it isn't clear, yes the above image that is negative and has the guy in it is a total fake.
