There is some thought that Dr. Hackett is tied to Apollo bars. Some of the messages revealed in TLE show that Hackett and Mittelwerk have had a disagreement and Hackett has broken off the relationship and is working with someone new. One speculation is that this is Rachel and that Rachel and Hackett are using the Bars to deliver a vaccine or antidone to the virus (or whatever it is) that Mittelwerk has been exposing people to.
Not sure I buy into it, but it also seems that a poster on her blog named mel0drama works for Hackett and is definitely in league with Rachel, so there might also be a tie there as well.
As to why she has to wait until a certain number are found to reveal - I believe the story line is that she wants to ensure that enough people are paying attention. Personally, there is a lot of disgruntlement at the whole glyph and candy bar parts of TLE because they seem not very well run and seem to be designed more to kill time than to actually fit into the story.

I was playing around with it. it was fun (the hansoexposed thing) but when I came back, suddenly, 8 of my clips were in the storeage thing, and they were all out of order, and I got mad so I ttole Uncle Igmar's Gin and threw it at my computer screen.

Actually, I don't think it has anything to do with the correct order. It is just coded badly.
Here is the trick I've found that works. When moving any clip from one slot to another, always drag it into the top storage area between the frames. This almost always fixes the problem.
The easy way to check if you have it saved right is to hit the save button and click the link shown and check the number of fragments shown - if it is the same amount as the ones you had dropped into the timeline then it is saved ok. Otherwise you have to reload the exposed page and replace the frags.

I don't think the numbers purpose was to help locate the island, but to: tell those off the island when DHARMA was successful in creating a change in the Valenzetti Equation's prediction of humanity's destruction.
Some people at TLEC are saying that the numbers are what is input into the equation and not what is output, but I'm not sure I buy that.
