I just finished Gary Troup's Bad Twin and while reading, I stumbled across a timeline issue that I found interesting. In chapter 31, Manny tells Paul that the feudal system in Scotland was abolished November 28, 2004. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feudal_superior is a Wikipedia article confirming this date. Browsing the original law, set forth in 2000, along with this page: www.opsi.gov.uk/legislation/scotland/ssi2004/20040478.htm, it seems that the date November 28, 2004, was decided on November 3rd, 2004. Therefore, if Gary Troup were on Oceanic 815, which crashed, supposedly, in September 2004, how would he have known this date when writing the novel? Perhaps I am overlooking something here.
