By all accounts the new Lost video game "Via Domus" is pretty darn bad, and the producers have said it is not cannon. Based on this, and the fact I don't have a PS3 yet, I don't plan on playing it (anytime soon, anyway). I would like to know any of the juicy bits from anyone who's played it; I hear you get to see what's behind the door in the electromagnet room in the Swan hatch. I'm guessing it's a giant electromagnet, but I wanna' see! Screencaps anybody?

yeah. as a game, it's pretty weak. but seeing the magnet is pretty cool . . . sorry, no screenshots. the BIG bomb (not literally a bomb) is dropped at the end of the game. The character you play manages to get on a boat, and per Juliets instructions, head off at a bearing of 325°. As you're motoring away, a distress call comes over the radio . . . and you look up into the sky to see 815 breaking apart and crashing onto the island . . . AGAIN! (you're ON the plane at the beginning of the game) . . . The screen goes black . . . then you awaken (again) on the beach. HOWEVER, this time, a character from your past that had DIED before you boarded the plane the first time, is now ALIVE! If you stop to think about it, this is HUGE. During the game the character you play becomes a better person, and expresses desire to go back and do things different so that he could have saved this person. This opens the story in a BIG way.

Whats strange about the part of the game where you get into the magnet room is that your character, Elliot Maslow, has this compass that Locke gave him and the compass will only point to the direction of the electro magnetic room so he has to shut down a generator so that his compass will work again and it appears as if it completely shuts down the electro magnet as well. When you first walk into the room there are flickering lights that are hanging from the ceiling and it looked as if they were being pulled toward the magnet and when he shut the generator off they went limp and turned off.
I may not have paid enough attention to that part, but thats what I got out of it.
But that just wouldn't play into the show, even though they said the game wasn't canon to the show, since they still pushed the button and since there obviously was a electro charge still building that needed to be discharged every 108 minutes.
I dunno, I just found that part of the game to be iffy.
It was awesome being able to explore most of the hatches though. I really enjoyed that aspect of the game.
