Posted at the Fuselage, not sure if it's legit - but it reads right: The body of John Lantham of New York was found shortly after 4 am in the 4300 block of Grand Avenue. Ted Worden, a doorman at the Tower Lofts complex, heard loud noises coming from the victim's loft. Concerned for tenants' safety, he entered the loft and found the body hanging from a beam in the living room. According to Jaime Ortiz, a police spokesman, the incident was deemed a suicide after medical tests. Latham (sic) is survived by one teenaged son. Memorial services will be held at the Hoffs-Drawlar Funeral Home tomorrow evening. If that is legit, it's probably Michael in the coffin. Makes sense.

Hmmm, innerestin'! Does the poster on the Fuselage state how he came to those conclusions about how the article reads? Cause I've yet to see a screencap that shows all the text.

Then why did Jack cry when he read the article? Why would he go there?

And who - or what - hung the body from the beam? ? I don't think he hung himself if the doorman heard loud noises - maybe a visit from the Smoke Monster? ? Hmmmmmmm

the ressurection of Ethan is imminant ,Barbossa style! Heeells yes ;D I'm always skeptical of things like this, but hey, it's as good a lead as any. After brewing about the finale, I don't think it's Sawyer anymore. Locke or Michael are my two bids, and random information and subtle hints seems to suggest the ladder. But heck, maybe it's Charlie's zombie, resurrected and killed once again.

I agree that the body in the coffin could be Michael's because that would be an easy solution for the show to deal with Malcom David Kelly's growing up - they could deal with him as the "teen" that the dead man in the obit has left behind. Perhaps we'll now only see Michael and Walt in flash-forwards. That assumes, of course, that they've made it off the island like Jack and Kate have, and Michael has had to change his name for some reason...

I think I am going to be seriously disapointed if it turnes out that Michael is the one in the coffin.
Here's why: It's too obvious.
I am thinking that it is someone we haven't met yet - someone on the ship who has a significant impact on the LOSTies.

It apparently wasn't that obvious since I think every podcast I heard right after the showing was saying Ben or Locke.
Also, I like the idea that this is how they deal with Walt's age. Great thought.
