I am putting it in spoilers cause it was in spoilerfix. If it isn't supposed to be here, sorry mods. ABC is set to announce that Lost will end production after two more seasons. According to sources, ABC is planning to push back Lost's return date to January of next year in order to air new episodes back-to-back, and it is also "extremely likely" that Lost will change time slots next season. So I guess they were telling the truth about the amount of seasons they wanted! Although, I am upset about their decision on Lost's return date. |

Yeah, it's dumb that they're going to wait till January, but I guess too many people complained this season and last season. I like the way they did this season.

yeah, so did I. Yeah, the twist to end the first half wasn't all that great, but it kept us at least halfway interested!

I read in my newspaper today, that they've announced that there will be three more short, 16 episode, seasons. So LOST will end in 2010. They will start in January, with no repeats until the end of the season.

Meh. I think the producers only wanted 2 more seasons, but ABC got them to add on another. I am a little afraid that there will be more Charlie Fire+Water episodes than THe Brig. Still, at least ABC is letting them end the show on their terms.

From Spoilerfix: 05/09 - Starting with the 2007-08 season, ABC will begin airing the 48 remaining original episodes of the hit drama "Lost," it was announced today by Stephen McPherson, president, ABC Entertainment. The episodes will air uninterrupted over three seasons (16 episodes each season), with the series concluding in 2009-10 with a highly anticipated and shocking finale. Source: ABC Hmmm... 3 more seasons of 16 is the same as 2 more seasons of 24.
