Well, I guess we are gonna get a January - May 20+ straight episodes. Kinda sucks, but oh well. I do think they are really pumped about The Man Behind the Curtain, though.

Notes: The Brig Discussion: - Confirms Cooper is real Sawyer. D & C knew from the very beginning. Surprised how many people didn't guess this (they must not read anything from the online world - I think everyone guessed this was true from the moment we found out Locke's dad was a con-artist!) - The resolution of Cooper being killed propels the plot for the rest of the season. - If the others tell Locke he is special (ala Richard Alpert) Locke will do anything. - Others must have a massively huge network of PI's in real world to find out all the information they have (kidding) - Alpert may be manipulating the power structure of the others *or* he truely believe what he said - about Locke being special. Sounds like there really may be some of the Others questioning their leadership and Locke being special.
The Man Behind the Curtain: - Alpert back next week. Locke will deliver father to Ben and ask to be shown the island secrets. - Ben is the man behind the curtain (then they backtrack and say maybe he is) - Much more information about Jacob to be revealed in Man Behind the curtain.
Questions: - Was Tom quoting Alvar Hanso in S2 on the Mountain to Jack, Sawyer, Locke. ("Since the dawn of time...") - yes - same quote. - D&C were a bit down in the last podcast because they'd just finished the finale writing - basically it's the let down after finally finishing that huge project. They were not down because of all the characters they were going to be killing off. - Where are all the monkeys? A jungle island needs Monkeys!!! Will Joop be making an appearance - he may be showing up on the show - Joop is the back door cancellation episode - he'd be smoking a pipe in a leather chair to explain all the Island Mysteries. If Lost ever was cancelled early. They'd love to do monkeys, but haven't had time... - Regarding next season - will do the 24 thing - January to May and that is it - no breaks! - Will there be official podcasts during the hiatus? Maybe - they'd like to... They will be at Comic Con - will have a panel. - Apparently Ben is not Locke's foster brother. - They see no chance of an early cancellation for Lost. They hope to officially announce an end date. The Lost story has a beginning, middle and end and it won't go on forever. - Hurley bird - and it's background - it has never appeared in Hurley's past prior to the island. - Three things seem to must have to happen in each official podcast: (have to listen to the podcast if you want to know what they are) - The lost podcast is the only one ABC does where they do fan questions.
