While still apparently dazed, she spoke to him in a foreign language and he claimed she thanked him for saving her. She actually said:

"Eu não estou só" which is Portuguese (with a Brazilian accent). It means: "I am not alone".

If she doesn't tell anyone else, in english, the same thing, she's one of them. That would also explain why Mikhail went towards the flare so quickly and was asking what they found of hers.
