And this comes from what source? Rumors have been around that this was true, but everything I've seen basically was that it was a popular theory and nothing more.

If that is true, Ben probably wasn't born on the island, then.
My theory is that no one was born on the island. The others just came to the island, recognized its power, and tried to harness it.

I dont know . . . . no popular spoiler sites have confirmed this. Its hard to imagine Roger Workman as anything mroe then well . . . . a workman. If he was a relative of Ben would he have such an unimportant status? And would he be part of the Dharma Initiative? I think i'll wait for Ben's flashback on this one. |

I'm still thinking Ben is adopted. with Roger as his adopted parent either that or 1. Ben was not born on the island and he lied... 2. DHARMA was around on the island a while before we were led to believe they were. |

according to the official lost podcast *summarized* Don't believe Ben when he says he was born on the island.
so my theory: i'm thinking that he came to the island but had some communion with the island and was in a way reborn/baptized by it... becoming the ben we know now |
