I just read this on TV Guide: "A new female character will be introduced later this season, and get this: According to exec producer Carlton Cuse, 'She does not appear in a flashback, she is not an Other, and she is not one of the survivors of Flight 815.'" tinyurl.com/syajlIt also says on a different page there at TV Guide that the part has been cast. I am thinking that since being marooned on the island seems to be a fairly common occurrence, perhaps a new plane or boat crashes on the island.
If we are lucky it will crash right on top of Paulo!!!! (can wish, can't I???) |

Yeah, its probably another crash victim. But is it someone who has been there the whole time, or does one of the Losties find her washed up on the shore, or even sees the crash? The only other thing i can think of is if we start to see more present day, off island action. Maybe someone figures out how to communicate off island, maybe video conference or something. Or maybe it will have to do with Penny trying to find Desmond. Maybe she is leading an expedition to try to save him or something. I don't know, it will be interesting to see what happens.
Anyway, putting this info with some previous spoilers, it looks like she will appear in April, probably in episode 3.17 (April 18th). |

IT HAS BEEN DONE BEFORE Henry Gale (not that wannabe Ben Linus), Desmond and Rousseau all fit that criteria.
We also saw Penny and the 2 Portuguese guys off island not in a flashback.
It could be Henry's balloon companion.
BUT HERE IS MY RIDICULOUS THEORY
She will land on the island in the final episodes as someone who bumped into Michael and Walt.

I just went to IMDB to look at who Marsha was us.imdb.com/name/nm0859720/She is British - so maybe it will be a link to Desmond or to Charlie and Michael and Walt Hey we haven't met anyone from Dharma on the Island yet. Maybe she flies a DHARMA supply plane and crashes. |

I really like the idea that she ran into Walt and Michael! I don't think she will be on the other end of Locke's Flame computer, because I don't think she will be on for a few more weeks, but it could happen. Or she could be there, but not this time, but will the next time they try to use that computer. I think Locke will end up talking to an older Marvin Candle This week. |
