did anybody else think that the lady from desomnd's ring shop was in the preview for next week with jack? the lady that asks jack "do yo know what they mean?" (referring to his tats) i didnt know if i was seeing things or what but if someone could maybe get a screencap that would be great. |

i don't have a screenshot but i know for a fact that the 2 actresses are different people...
the ring lady was the maid in 'the others' with nicole kidman
the tat lady was the grown daughter in 'mommy dearest'
i'm sure imdb would help

Nope, not her. Ring shop lady is Fionnula Flanagan, actress in "Stranger" is Diana Scarwid.

Yeah its not her BUT when i first saw her i had the same impression. The lady in the next episode did however remind me of Kates Mom.

The tattoo lady and ring lady could be the same character. Maybe when she is older she travels back in time to talk to Desmond in the shop. If she works for dharma it could be their way of making sure Desmond makes it to the island.

nah they are two different people... i'm still at odds to whether or not she was a real person or just Desmond's concious
