I think that Vincent has had it with these stupid survivors! He's going to start tearing the limbs off everybody! Who knows what he did with the person who belonged to that arm? Give me time - I'll think of an Angel reference eventually!

Wow.. Whats Vincent doing with the Dharma failsafe key? and who's arm is that? Could this be Kelvin Joe Inman arm, he's dead body went missing after Desmon killed him... or This may sound crazy, but is it Desmons arm....maybe Desmon is dead and he is a spirt and can tell the future becasue of this.. maybe this is why he is upset with Charlie saying "You don't wanna know what happen to ME when i turned that key!" Hey it's worth a shot ;D

Was it a DHARMA Key? It looked like just a regular key on a rabbit's foot keyring.

So you think that the: key is the DHARMA Failsafe Key? I'm not sure: Doesn't look like the right shape. I'll see if I can find a better capture of the lost moment online to sharpen up in photoshop though... If it is the DHARMA Failsafe key, then the implication that perhaps Desmond is dead and what we see here in the show now as Desmond is something different is a pretty interesting one. Given the producers have said no zombies and clones, perhaps the smoke munster manifesting itself? Or another version of the smoke monster??? I agree - it looks like a key and a rabbit's foot...

Or it could just be the arm of one of those who didn't survive the crash - I mean I guess it could look that decomposed after about 70 days in that weather. The person could have been had their good luck charm - the rabbit's foot out - hoping the plane wouldn't crash. Just a thought.

I'm stealing eve phenixes theory that keys were mentioned in the french transmission. I found it "Brenden has the keys" Brandon lives!

So, that's the wrong arm for Dr. Candle, right? IIRC it was his left arm that seemed to be a prosthesis and that appears to be a right hand holding the key. Or was it? Or maybe Vincent dug up Radzinski?

confirmed in another posting here - the key is a VW bus key - there is a shot of Hurley in front of a VW bus (old style) with the DHARMA logo on the front in place of the traditional round VW symbol. JLSK
