Carl: Carl's name is indeed Carl. He is indeed an other. He is not a plant, like Ana Lucia in the tiger pit. He is trying to escape legitimately and is really beaten up. By the end of the 6th episode we will understand why this is the case. Juliet: she'll be in the season a lot more. We'll see a lot more of her (a flashback maybe???) Other: the light in the sky in the finale was described as purple - not white
Ms. Klugh will be back later in season
Not all the others are at the Hydra station. There are other Others in other places |

I guess he means 9 different groups. I'm guessing that's what he meant, but Carlton Cuse used the word "factions". Whether that means nine different groups, or nine sectors within one group, who's to say. I think Klugh, for instance, is part of a separate group to the Ben/Tom/Ethan group, but she seemed to take part in the barefoot-savages masquerade with them. |

Speaking of Tom, I think I heard a spoiler a while back that the Artist Formerly Known as Henry Gale was gonna have a problem with Mr Friendly aka: Tom over a question of Religion. It doesn't surprise me, but I'm gonna hazard a guess to say that Ben is a devout Christian, and possibly objects to Tom's sexual preference. Although how this is gonna make compelling viewing, I don't know...

Maybe to flesh out the differences and bitterness of the Others towards each other, or just to build character development, cause I think Benry is gonna stay for a long time!
