The October 4 premiere belongs to Jack, who loses it in flashbacks when he suspects wife Sarah of having an affair with his boozin' dad. Desmond turns up post-hatch explosion naked. Source: TV Guide this is a...strange spoiler.the end anyway

I have more or less maintained that Jack would either actually fully join "The Others" or at least fake it to try to make their escape.
Does "Fenry" tell Jack he'll let Kate and Sawyer go if Jack stays with them? Could be.
And if it really turns out that Sarah has been cheating on Jack with his Dad - I will b more than a little disappointed. Not enough to stop watching - unless it turns out that Sarah is really Locke's "love child" from an affair he had with a teacher while he was in college.
I think the Desmond thing wil, be much like when Claire came stumbling out of the jungle in the 1st season. She shows up and LOST pops up on the screen. We see Hurley intrepidly walking back and at one point he hears noises - maybe a whisper or two - maybe just some grumbling in a Scottish accent - but he gets kinda scared until he see's it's Desmond stumbling around.
How did Desmond got naked Brothah??? Got me. ;D

I do know that the chicks will be digging Desmonds Birthday Suit lol
But as I said on another thread, the title of the episode is "A Tale of Two Cities". In the book, a man gives his life up for his friend, who is madly in love with this woman. Sounds like maybe Sawyer and Kate hook up (which I have believed from the beginning) and Jack is given the choice to stay and let them go free. Because, as we all know, Jack always wants to do the right thing.
