2. To Jay's question about Rose and Bernard being DHARMA, After much grief to Jay, they did flatly say that no it was not true.
argh! That would have been great!

Spoilers from the "Watch with Kristin" message board: LOST Scoop -- From Comic-Con!
Posted By: kristin Created in: Forum: Watch with Kristin Posted: Jul 24, 2006 5:29 PM
DL=DAMON LINDELOF CC=CARLETON CUSE DDK=DANIEL DAE KIM BB=BRYAN BURK
Dr. Anna Graham reporting in with some highlights from the LOST panel at Comic-Con. I'm saving some good stuff about Vincent, the LOST video game and the return of Libby (in flashbacks) for later, so check back in Kristin's next chat if you want the scoop!
~~~~
SAWYER FEATURE ON THE DVD
DL: There is an amazing feature--if I may give the DVD a shout-out--on the LOST season two DVD where we have edited together every single insult that Sawyer has ever made. CC: It's astonishing when you hear them all together really. It's hilarious. DL: You can sit at home and play with your friends and try to figure out who he's talking about.
~~~~
MOBISODES
Dr. G: Can you tell us about the mobisodes, and in particular will I need a new phone to see them? CC: Um. Uh, technical--I don't know whether you're going to need a new phone to see them, but we are, we are-- DL: I don't think so. I think, you know, we're--the deal is with Verizon and then they're partnering up with Sprint and other carriers, so, hopefully if you have a phone that has vid-treaming capabilities, you'll be able to watch this. It's just a matter of you might have to wait a day or two behind he people who have the first deal. But we don't want it--we want all the fans of the show to be able to see it, and then, a week after they're available on phones, you'll be able to watch them on the Internet, free of charge. CC: Our goal is to try to get them done so that they will fall in the period between our two pods of new episodes, so they'll be at least some content coming out between the six episodes in the fall and the episodes that we run in the spring. Dr. G: How many are you guys gonna do? DL: The plan right now is to do 13. They're, they're very short. Just-- CC: A couple minutes. DL: A couple minutes each, but, I think when the fans see what it is, you know, everybody keeps saying what are the mobisodes, how's it gonna work? You guys have just sort of seen a little taste of it here, but, uh, we, we think it's really, really cool, and we didn't want to do anything...It's been really hard to get them off the ground, because we didn't want to do anything that was a waste of your time, even two minutes. If it's lame, who cares? So, we, we feel like, if you're gonna take the time to download it and watch it that it should give you something that is, that the show is not giving you or enhances, you know, your involvement in the show.

THE RETURN OF BADASS LOCKE
[Note from Anna: Hope it's not a case of be careful what you wish for!] DL: There's a constant dialogue happening between the actors and the producers and the writers; sometimes directly, sometimes indirectly. And very much, the actors' experience playing the part often sort of echoes, um, the character. So, for this, this season, I don't--anybody who's reading anything about the show, sort of probably aware of the fact that Terry O'Quinn was very frustrated. You know, in terms, here's a guy who season one is running around the jungle. He knows all the answers, he's on an axis of destiny, he finally feels like the Island has provided him the answer, and the answer is he has to sit at a computer every 108 minutes and push a button. And this frustrates him. You know, over the course of the season, both Locke and Terry get frustrated and he would say to us, "I want a knife in my hand and kill things again." So we say, "Oh, you'll get your knife back, John Locke." In season three we think is going to be really exciting, but you know, sometimes as writers we have to frustrate the actors in order to tell the larger story.
~~~~
SUN'S BABY
[Note from Anna: The prods always say season seven (and beyond) is the zombie season.] Fan: When is Sun going to have Michael's baby? DL: Oh, no, you di'in. DDK: I am personally offended by that. DL: Um, well, going back to the earlier question about how each season takes approximately 30 days of real time, I'd say somewhere in the range of season 13. Fourteen? I dunno...Let's just say there will be zombies in the delivery room.
~~~~
JIN'S LANGUAGE SKILLS
CC: For instance, we realize that Daniel speaks English. DDK: Don't tell ANYBODY. CC: Maybe you'll be seeing some more of that.
~~~~
ROMANCE COMMENT #1
Carlton: We're definitely having more romance on the show this year. It was something we tried to get to last year, but the storytelling--we didn't quite get to where we wanted to get to. So yes, that is coming up, and there's a good reason that Jorge and Daniel are sitting next to each other.
ROMANCE COMMENT #2
Fan: I just wanted to ask: When the heck is Kate going to get with SOMEBODY? CC: Very soon! Fan: Promise? CC: We promise. DL: We swear to god. Depends what you mean by "get with." CC: I think you know what she means by "get with." Don't be coy. Don't try to get her to say things in front of like 5,000 people that she doesn't want to say. DL: It's a family audience. But yes, she is, within the first six episodes, she will officially be making her selection.
~~~~
DADDY ISSUES
Fan: Is there anything that goes along with the rich powerful fathers, Sun's dad, Jack's dad, Locke's dad, um, Libby's husband? Like, are they all, like, do they have anything to do with, uh, the Dharma Initiative? CC: I think that, uh, you know, father issues are very much a part of the show, thematically. I mean, that is something that we deal with extensively, if you look at the characters on the show; a lot of the characters have daddy issues. That's, um, that is sort of a thematic thread and something which is very much a part of how we come up with stories and how we write stories. DL: But, you know, there are obviously, you know, one of the things that we love writing and we feel like the fans who watch the show very closely love watching is, realizing at what level do certain characters connect to each other? You know, there are connections between Mr. Paik and various other parties that are sort of being alluded to, not on the Internet, but maybe gradually as we begin moving on the show. So you're asking the right question, but we're certainly not going to confirm or deny.
~~~~
DHARMA INITIATIVE
CC: The Dharma Initiative? They were, like, good guys. They were doing to do projects for the betterment of humanity.
~~~~
SEASON THREE
DL: You know, we're really excited about season three, one of the things, you know, it's going to be vastly different feeling that preceded it, but at the same time, we're sort of re-embracing the roots of what we love about the show. We feel there's going to be a lot more adventure in season three. Obviously, it's very exciting to us that Kate and Jack and Sawyer have been captured by these other people. So, finally, you know, we have an opportunity to learn more about these other people: who they are, where they came from, why they have captured Kate Jack and Sawyer, but more importantly, this idea of, of telling an adventure story, a captivity story. That's really going to be a big piece of at least the first six episodes, the sort of mini-series event. And then something is going to happen about midway through the year that will effectively hopefully fry everybody's brains. If it doesn't, we'll once again get cries of jumping the shark, but you know, as we always say, once we stop trying to the jump the shark the show is going to become incredibly boring. You know, this element has always been part of the DNA of the show, so we've got a lot of factors coming back. Desmond and Locke and Eko: What happened to them down there? And how did they survive, if they survived. CC: And truly we are going to have more of an emphasis on the character relationships and romance on the show this year. We're going to be introducing new characters on the show this year, and the mystery of who they are and where they came from and what their flashback stories are will be a part of the show. And obviously at the end of last season, we did something that we hadn't done for the first 49 hours of the show: We took you to the outside world, and that was very significant for laying the seeds of a whole new element that is going to come into the show. Obviously Penny and Desmond's relationship. That scene sort of teed up something that will become more significant on the show this year. We're actually really excited. We have a really cool game plan. We see each of the seasons of the show as like a book, like in the Harry Potter series. And each one has its own character and its own story and this season will be in a lot of ways about our characters' interactions with the Others and we will get to know a lot about their society, but as Damon said, with a real sort of action-adventure orientation. DL: And naked Hurley and Jin. Source

Spoilers from the "Watch with Kristin" spoiler column (feat. Jay & Jack!):"WwK" from 07/24/06 From lost: I think I'm the only one here who doesn't like Grey's. VM or Lost. Now!When I get a request from another planet, how can I resist! Okay, Lost. Here's a tidbit of the Comic-Con panel for you Skaters and Jaters and Haters to chew on: Fan: I just wanted to ask--when the heck is Kate going to get with somebody? Carlton Cuse: Very soon! Fan: Promise? C.C.: We promise. Damon Lindelof: We swear to god. Depends what you mean by "get with." C.C.: I think you know what she means by "get with." Don't be coy. Don't try to get her to say things in front of like 5,000 people that she doesn't want to say. D.L.: It's a family audience. But yes, she is, within the first six episodes, she will officially be making her selection. From brandon: Please thank Dr. Graham for her great Lost scoop on the message boards! Any more to report?Dr. G. does rock, no? For you who haven't seen it, you should check the posting titled "LOST SCOOP From Comic Con!" Other tidbits to report include a flat-out denial from Carlton Cuse that Rose and Bernard work for Dharma. And then there was this extremely dodgy convo between a fan* and producers Damon Lindelof (D.L.), Bryan Burke (B.B.) and Carlton Cuse (C.C.)! Fan*: I'm just curious if next season we're finally going finally to see the underwater hatch? D.L.: The underwater hatch? Fan: The underwater hatch. D.L.: What is this underwater hatch of which you speak? Fan: The cable? C.C.: Oh...the cable. D.L.: Oh, that's interesting. Fan: Maybe they would swim out. D.L.: I would not deny that there was an underwater hatch. C.C.: I wouldn't confirm it, but... D.L.: Bryan, what are your thoughts? B.B.: I don't speak English. * Jack From lost4everandever: More Lost scoop! Please! For those of you wondering if it really could be true that the number of days in each season could follow Hurley's numbers backwards, here's a snippet of that convo that is pretty intriguing! Fan: The first season, it took place during 48 days, the second season 23. Do you guys have an idea of the whole series, how many days it's supposed to take place in? D.L.: It's interesting you should ask about time, because, you know, uh, you're making a basic assumption, that, you know, that they've been there as long as they think they've been there. I would say, I would say by the end of season three that you might have a very different idea-- C.C.: Stop right there. From lost4everandever: What else did Dr. Anna Graham say on Lost? Whoa...She just bombarded me with a ton of Lost information! I will be posting it on the message boards just as soon as this chat is over (it's way too much to put in this format). So, please check there for a tantalizing Lost fix! From dwb: Does JJ's big new movie/TV deal mean he's "lost" to us forever?JJ is fully on board of Brian, Lost and Six Degrees this season, but after that, it appears as though he won't be closely tied to ABC anymore. Yeah - I thought so too.
It seemed like maybe a quarter of the people there including Jorge knew who Jay and Jack were and the others had no clue, which explains CC's whole joking and everything. A number of people actually posted serious blogs about Rachel as well and how she was some crazed fan interrupting the session.

Alright, got to see it.....the others have nothing to do with Hanso, or did but now they don't lol. That's my crackpot theory....and i am sticking to it.
I don't think their working for anybody. Their just sort of there. Some people though, h have commented that Benard somehow looks like albar. I always thought that was crazy, but that's just me.
