For those who didn't see it elsewhere - this site is a new abc / hyperion publishing site that is out. It is confirmed legit: www.garytroupbooks.com/also.php
Talks about the new Bad Twin book. This was already posted by someone in the theories area, and I started to post this there, but then decided this might be spoilerish, so I'm reposting here instead.
More info on the book:
This is from www.thefuselage.com/Threaded/showthread.php?t=46521 - but the original content is supposedly from Fuzzy - a user on lost-tv who somehow got a prerelease copy of bad twin.

The following is a list of characters, locales, and interesting items from the book Bad Twin, as provided by "fozzie" at losttv-forum. I don't think it will spoil the book for you. I will not post the plot summary as it will probably be online in a few days.
The book begins with a note from the editors that is basically Christine Devries from Walkabout Publishing to Gary Troup and another back to her about a book tour in Australia. Both have references to the numbers in the dates... August 16 and August 23. The book is dedicated to Cindy, my high-flying angel - Cindy Chandler the flight attendant Gary was seeing.

Interesting Facts
Widmore has a famous office tower on 57th Street in New York City.
The Widmores got their fortune starting with midtown real estate, expanding to the financial district, Florida, California, the Caribbean and others. Involved in construction and engineering projects, investments in scientific enterprises (mainstream and fringe), offshore ventures, defense contracting, and private security work of questionable ethics. Also tied to the Hanso Foundation.
Hanso Foundation has a floor of the Widmore Building (42nd) with everyone wearing white and mint green lab coats and identical neat, short haircuts. A plaque on the wall reads:
The Hanso Foundation stands at the Vanguard of social and scientific research for the advancement of the human race. For forty years, the foundation has offered grants to worthy experiments designed to further the evolution of the human race and provide technological solutions to the most pressing problems of our time. The Hanso Foundation: commitment to encouraging excellence in science and technology and furthering the cause of human development.
Cliff and Zander are mirror twins. Identical except Zander is left-handed and Cliff is right. Themes throughout the book referring to this including Yin and Yang, and Doppelganger. They were born minutes apart on either side of midnight. Zander is the elder of the two. Their birthdays are 8/15 and 8/16. The code for the gate to their house is 81516.
