What we already know:

Guest stars for season finale: Cameron, British (Rupert Murdochish) 50, rich steel tycoon, ruthless, competitive, protective of his daughter; Penelope, late 20's, beautiful, strong, daughter of Cameron, wants a simple life, to fall in love and start a family. Though she has no interest in her family's money she eventually uses it to get what she wants.

Vincent will be in the season finale.

What we just found out as of today:

The episode will feature two foreign computer technicans working in a remote drilling station.

In addition to the English Guest Stars for the season finale, I found out there are also a couple of 'drillworkers' in the eps. Normally that wouldn't be that interesting but they are described as working in a remote drilling station and will be speaking in a foreign language that is of an uncommon variety like Finnish, Portuguese, Ukrainian, Norwegian, etc.

Thoughts? Anyone else connecting the drilling station to mining and Henry Gale's alleged mining company?

what if it is on the island? Like an island flashback of people digging the hatches? speaking Latin maybe??? Computer Technicians- like the people who wired in the comps in the hatch maybe?

Maybe the drilling workers hear the transmission just as the two Navy guys did, and pass the info upstairs...

My crackpot theory: The British Tycoon and his daughter will be seen in flashbacks. He'll be more similar to Andrew Carnegie than Lakshmi Mittal in terms of his fortune and history. Perhaps they'll even turn out to be the 'Adam and Eve' of the Caves.

My sloppy, smart-ass reasoning is this: The Island at present is already saturated with characters, and the last thing it needs is two more. What is sorely needed, however, is some elaboration of the island's origin. Perhaps this tycoon was, at one point, involved in funding the island's research.

A good point about the techs, perhaps they did help install the computer systems - however, the current queston is who is maintaining them.

my theory is that you will see the two workers on an oil rig, and they wake up and everyone else is gone, they run to the radio and just hear the "everyone is dead" message
