why do they have bright lights on an outdoor set? that doesn't make much sense. probably helps the editing department somehow, but it seems kinda moronic.
I still believe the april fools theory tho. gotta be Charlie/Locke at the hans of HG

from thetailsection.com- I've just found out that MR's trailer has been towed back to the lot and turned in for good.
My source says that the person who owns and maintains the trailers for the actors told them that her trailer isn't needed anymore.
Anymore, like as in ever! And she is already done with here scenes for the season. They've also said the don't need the LAPD prop cars or sets anymore.
Now remember, they are still shooting scenes right now and have just begun to shoot the season ender.
She has also left the island today. We'll get one more flashback of her on the force and that's it.
I know that JJ said she isn't leaving but I guess between the DUI and her diva like attitude is wearing real thin with the other actors. So, I can olny go with what I know:
1. She's not shooting any more scenes. 2. Her trailer is turned in for good. 3. No more LAPD cars or sets. 4. Her hearing for her DUI probation violation coming up in CA. You do the math...

I'll be HIGHLY disappointed if Ana Lucia is the next to go. It just doesn't make sense. The writer's are just killing off characters with lots of room for development (Boone, Shannon).
Eh. I'm hoping that its just rumors. The Tail Section has been wrong about many things in the past though.

I agree. I really like the edge of Ana Lucia's character. I'd hate to see her killed off too.

I'll be disappointed as well; if they are going to knock her off, they had better give her plenty of air time beforehand. I'd surely rather see her develop as a character (let alone before she gets killed) than listen to Rose and Bernard's marital woes.

It's like all the people who die are connected. Boone and Shannon are brother and sister, and if Ana Lucia dies... she killed Shannon

Lots of room for development??? SHANNON!!! She was the most worthless character on the island, INCLUDING Rose. I did like Boone though, and wished he would of stayed longer.

I wouldn't be disappointed if it was AL. Yes, she has the potential for character development, but they all do. I really don't care for her tough attitude - it's been pretty one dimensional and gets old after a while. Maybe she dies trying to redeem what she did to Shannon - taking a bullet meant for Sayid or something like that. That would continue the redemption theme of the island.

Of course, everyone has the potential for character development. It comes down to who has more of it than who, and Ana Lucia has had very little.
And I don't know where you're coming from with the one dimensional tough attitude. She dropped that act in "Collision", when they met with the fusies. If anything, she has some of the most potential as a character.

Ana definitely had some good character development in the jungle with Sayid. When you think about the Ana Lucia Jack met in the airport - fun, vivacious, flirty - and the Ana Lucia we see on the island and back in L.A., I'd really like to see these two people reconciled. I think she believes she had a shot with Jack, but it went out the window when she killed Shannon.
Ana probably experienced the greatest pre-island trauma of all the Losties, and I'm sure that given the chance it could be explored.
